During the Edmonds School Board meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 29, School Board President Susan Paine and Snohomish County Sheriff John Lovick honored the Lynnwood High School students who helped rescue a fellow student from his car, which hit a patch of ice and flipped into a ditch after school on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Honored with a School Board Recognition Award and a Certificate of Merit from the sheriff were LHS students Jessica Anthony, Gatlena Lat, Derek Bride, Justin Glanville, Alex Nguyen, and Tyler Elliott..
